It seems with the passing of each month as if time is fleeting faster than I’d like. We are so busy around the farm and each night we fall into bed utterly exhausted.
It is a good exhaustion, the kind where your muscles feel stretched, and your mind is so tired it has no choice but to shut off.
June welcomes a flush of berries. Be sure to take advantage of it and go berry picking at a local farm if you can.
Even better, with this month being English Muffin month, try your hand at making some freezer jam.
With the skills you are learning you will have homemade butter, jam, and English Muffins under your belt.
I’m sure your loved ones will squeal in delight over the delicious meals streaming out of your kitchen.

Cornmeal or Semolina Flour for dusting
3 inch circle cutter (one or several) or this set of circle cutters if you’re in a pinch, try a mason jar ring.
Pan with a lid
